Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
But the Prushim and lawyers rejected the counsel of Elohim against themselves, being not immersed of him.
And Y'shuw`a answering spake unto the Torah teachers and Prushim, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath Day?
Woe unto you, Torah experts! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
But Y'shuw`a perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
And the Prushim came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
Rabbi, which is the great mitzvah in the Torah?
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Y'shuw`a stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
