And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

For Herod feared Yochanan, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That Yochanan the Immerser was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Y'shuw`a,

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before Elohim: for Elohim is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

And Saul sware to her by YY , saying, As YY liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

So and more also do Elohim unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

Then answered one of the people, and said, Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day. And the people were faint.

And the men of Yisrael were distressed that day: for Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until evening, that I may be avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted any food.

Now the men of Yisrael had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Binyamin to wife.

And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Yisrael,

Thus saith YY -TZvaot, the Elohim of Yisrael, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here Yochanan Immerser's head in a charger.

And he sent, and beheaded Yochanan in the prison.
