For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon Yochanan, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Ester's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
