That the saying of Yeshayahu the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, YY , who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of YY been revealed?
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Yerushalayim, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Yhudah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
For they that dwell at Yerushalayim, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath Day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Torah of Moshe, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my ruach upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
