Then stood up Yeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the kohanim, and Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the Elohim of Yisrael, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the Torah of Moshe the man of Elohim.
And YY stirred up the spirit of Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Yhudah, and the spirit of Y'howshu`a the son of Josedech, kohen hagadol, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of YY -TZvaot, their Elohim,
In that day, saith YY -TZvaot, will I take thee, O Zrubavel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith YY , and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith YY -TZvaot.
Speak now to Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Yhudah, and to Y'howshu`a the son of Josedech, kohen hagadol, and to the residue of the people, saying,
Then Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, and Y'howshu`a the son of Josedech, kohen hagadol, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of YY their Elohim, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as YY their Elohim had sent him, and the people did fear before YY .
In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of YY by Haggai the prophet unto Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Yhudah, and to Y'howshu`a the son of Josedech, kohen hagadol, saying,
Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
Then rose up Zrubavel the son of Shealtiel, and Yeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of Elohim which is at Yerushalayim: and with them were the prophets of Elohim helping them.
And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Yhoyakhin king of Yhudah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Bavel in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Yhoyakhin king of Yhudah out of prison;
And he carried away all Yerushalayim, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
Thus saith YY , Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the Throne of David, and ruling any more in Yhudah.
Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Bavel took not, when he carried away captive Ykhanyah-yahu the son of Yhoyakhim king of Yhudah from Yerushalayim to Bavel, and all the nobles of Yhudah and Yerushalayim;
So all the generations from Avraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Bavel are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Bavel unto Moshiach are fourteen generations.
