Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Bavel took not, when he carried away captive Ykhanyah-yahu the son of Yhoyakhim king of Yhudah from Yerushalayim to Bavel, and all the nobles of Yhudah and Yerushalayim;
And YY gave Yhoyakhim king of Yhudah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of Elohim: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his Elohim; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his Elohim.
Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Bavel the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.
And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Bavel; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Bavel, with the goodly vessels of the house of YY , and made TZidkiyah-yahu his brother king over Yhudah and Yerushalayim.
Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Bavel, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Yerushalayim. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Yirmeyah-yahu of Libnah.
And he carried away all Yerushalayim, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
So all the generations from Avraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Bavel are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Bavel unto Moshiach are fourteen generations.
