Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but Elohim only?

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

And the scribes and the Prushims began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but Elohim alone?

Who is an Elohim like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

To YY our Elohim belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself Elohim.

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

Then kohen hagadol rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of Elohim?

But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

And immediately when Y'shuw`a perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
