And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first mitzvah of all?
He saith unto him, Which? Y'shuw`a said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Mitzvot, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.
But woe unto you, Prushim! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of Elohim: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Torah, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
