Searching what, or what manner of time the Ruach of Moshiach which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Moshiach, and the glory that should follow.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith YY -TZvaot: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Opening and alleging, that Moshiach must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Y'shuw`a, whom I preach unto you, is Moshiach.

Looking unto Y'shuw`a the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the execution stake, despising the shame, and is set down at the Right Hand of the Throne of Elohim.

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Moshiach to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach from the dead,

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Torah of Moshe, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

When therefore he was risen from the dead, his talmidim remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Y'shuw`a had said.

For as yet they knew not the Scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

And Avraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Yitzchak his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
