And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
Then released he Bar-Abba unto them: and when he had scourged Y'shuw`a, he delivered him to be crucified.
He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to YY .
And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Bar-Abba unto them, and delivered Y'shuw`a, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
Then Pilate therefore took Y'shuw`a, and scourged him.
And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief kohanim prevailed.
And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Y'shuw`a to their will.
