And he went his way, and communed with the chief kohanim and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
Now when kohen hagadol and the captain of the Temple and the chief kohanim heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
And as they spake unto the people, the kohanim, and the captain of the Temple, and the TZdukim, came upon them,
Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
Then Y'shuw`a said unto the chief kohanim, and captains of the Temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
Then one of the twelve, called Yhudah Kriot, went unto the chief kohanim,
And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of Elohim;
Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of Elohim.
And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
