And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

And at that time shall Mikhael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when YY -TZvaot shall reign in mount TZiyon, and in Yerushalayim, and before his ancients gloriously.

And I saw a great white Throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

But I am YY thy Elohim, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: YY -TZvaot is his name.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a tshofar hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Yerushalayim shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
