But woe unto you, Prushim! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of Elohim: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are Commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but g-dliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the Synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But the tithes of the children of Yisrael, which they offer as an heave offering unto YY , I have given to the Lvim to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Yisrael they shall have no inheritance.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Prushim, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of heaven.
