Y'shuw`a said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve Elohim and mammon.

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto YY ; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Sell that ye have, and give tzedakah; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

But rather give tzadikim of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of Elohim.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Keep yourselves in the love of Elohim, looking for the mercy of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach unto eternal life.

And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, YY ? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before Elohim.

Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

My flesh and my heart faileth: but Elohim is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
