But woe unto you, Prushim! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of Elohim: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Torah, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

If a man say, I love Elohim, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love Elohim whom he hath not seen?

Will a man rob Elohim? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth YY require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?

To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to YY than sacrifice.

Woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

And Shmuel said, Hath YY as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YY ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

But I know you, that ye have not the love of Elohim in you.

But woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye shut up the Kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Ye have wearied YY with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of YY , and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the Elohim of judgment?

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith YY -TZvaot unto you, O kohanim, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth Elohim shall come forth of them all.

And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the kohanim, to the chambers of the house of our Elohim; and the tithes of our ground unto the Lvim, that the same Lvim might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
