Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O YY , behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself.

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

TZiyon spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: YY hath Commanded concerning Yaakov, that his adversaries should be round about him: Yerushalayim is as a menstruous woman among them.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of YY -TZvaot.

Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against YY : Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.

Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.

For Yerushalayim is ruined, and Yhudah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against YY , to provoke the eyes of his glory.

Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy Torah.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of Elohim: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the good news of Elohim?

And many of the Jews came to Marta and Miryam, to comfort them concerning their brother.

Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.

How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street.

What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Yerushalayim? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of TZiyon? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?

Call together the archers against Bavel: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against YY , against the Holy One of Yisrael.

Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Yerushalayim! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the kohanim bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

Speak ye comfortably to Yerushalayim, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of YY 's hand double for all her sins.

Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Yisrael.

Incline thine ear, O YY , and hear; open thine eyes, O YY , and see: and hear all the words of Sancheriv, which hath sent to reproach the living Elohim.

It may be YY thy Elohim will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Ashur his master hath sent to reproach the living Elohim, and will reprove the words which YY thy Elohim hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

Grant not, O YY , the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

Now therefore, our Elohim, the great, the mighty, and the terrible Elohim, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our kohanim, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Ashur unto this day.

For YY saw the affliction of Yisrael, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Yisrael.

It may be that YY will look on mine affliction, and that YY will requite me good for his cursing this day.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O YY -TZvaot, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto YY all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and YY hath not done all this.

And when we cried unto YY Elohim of our fathers, YY heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:

And the people believed: and when they heard that YY had visited the children of Yisrael, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivi, and the Yvusis, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

And YY said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?

Remember, O YY , what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
