But Y'howshu`a had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.

By faith the harlot Rachav perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

And the king called the Givonites, and said unto them; (now the Givonites were not of the children of Yisrael, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Yisrael had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Yisrael and Yhudah.)

And Y'howshu`a made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out RAchav, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Yisrael.

And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.
