And Y'howshu`a set up twelve stones in the midst of Yarden, in the place where the feet of the kohanim which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
And Y'howshu`a wrote these words in the book of the Torah of Elohim, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of YY .
And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Yisrael, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
And YY said unto Moshe, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a Torah, and Commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
And Yaakov rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
And Eliyah-yahu took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Yaakov, unto whom the word of YY came, saying, Yisrael shall be thy name:
For the kohanim which bare the ark stood in the midst of Yarden, until everything was finished that YY Commanded Y'howshu`a to speak unto the people, according to all that Moshe Commanded Y'howshu`a: and the people hasted and passed over.
