Blessed be YY , that hath given rest unto his people Yisrael, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moshe his servant.
Elohim is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for Elohim to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
And YY hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the Throne of Yisrael, as YY promised, and have built an house for the name of YY Elohim of Yisrael.
Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Kenaanim, the Hittitim, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Yvusis, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:
