All the cities of the Lvim within the possession of the children of Yisrael were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

They shall teach Yaakov thy judgments, and Yisrael thy Torah: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.

Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Yaakov, and scatter them in Yisrael.

So all the cities for the children of Mrari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Lvim, were by their lot twelve cities.

These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.

And the children of Yisrael gave to the Lvim these cities with their suburbs.

And the children of Yisrael gave unto the Lvim out of their inheritance, at The Commandment of YY , these cities and their suburbs.
