In those days there was no king in Yisrael: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Yisrael.
Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Dammesek northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
So Y'howshu`a smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as YY Elohim of Yisrael Commanded.
