So Y'howshu`a took the whole land, according to all that YY said unto Moshe; and Y'howshu`a gave it for an inheritance unto Yisrael according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
And unto Kalev the son of Yfuneh he gave a part among the children of Yhudah, according to The Commandment of YY to Y'howshu`a, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hevron.
Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Yisrael, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gidon.
