And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that Elohim prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Yonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

Therefore now, O YY , take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of Elohim, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Iyov sin with his lips.

And Shmuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is YY : let him do what seemeth him good.

Then Moshe said unto Aharon, This is it that YY spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aharon held his peace.

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O YY , take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of YY shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

And Elohim said to Yonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

And Achav came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Yizreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than my life.

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
