And he prayed unto YY , and said, I pray thee, O YY , was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious Elohim, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

But thou, O YY , art an Elohim full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

YY is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

For thou, YY , art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Who is an Elohim like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

And YY repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

YY repented for this: It shall not be, saith YY .

And Elohim saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and Elohim repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

But Yonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of YY , and went down to Yafo; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of YY .

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O YY , take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

YY repented for this: This also shall not be, saith YY Elohim.

Return, O YY , how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Y'shuw`a, And who is my neighbour?

O YY , thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived; thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

(For YY thy Elohim is a merciful Elohim;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

YY is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of YY your Elohim; and YY will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.

If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.

Who can tell if Elohim will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
