So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy Elohim, if so be that Elohim will think upon us, that we perish not.
And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether Elohim will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Yerushalayim for the name of the Lord Y'shuw`a.
And YY shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of YY is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Yisrael, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the Torah: and if I perish, I perish.
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto Elohim: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
