The Prushim heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Prushim and the chief kohanim sent officers to take him.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Yhudah then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief kohanim and Prushim, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

The Prushim therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

But woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye shut up the Kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Shmuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of Elohim was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

Then the Prushim went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

But Kefa followed him afar off unto the palace of kohen hagadol, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

But some of them went their ways to the Prushim, and told them what things Y'shuw`a had done.
