And as Moshe lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

Then said Y'shuw`a unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of Elohim, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

But how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moshe had made: for unto those days the children of Yisrael did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

And how the chief kohanim and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

And in that day there shall be a root of Yishai, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

And Y'shuw`a saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

I am the living matzah which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this matzah, he shall live for ever: and the matzah that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

That the saying of Y'shuw`a might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
