Then took Miryam a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Y'shuw`a, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Then when Miryam was come where Y'shuw`a was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Miryam her sister secretly, saying, The Rabbi is come, and calleth for thee.

Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.

While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

How he sware unto YY , and vowed unto the mighty Elohim of Yaakov;

How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!

But one thing is needful: and Miryam hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

And there came also Nakdimon, which at the first came to Y'shuw`a by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself.
