For Moshiach also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to Elohim, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Ruach:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

And one of them, named Kayafa, being kohan hagadol that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

And led him away to Anan first; for he was father in law to Kayafa, which was kohan hagadol that same year.

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
