Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of YY your Elohim, and cry unto YY ,

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto Elohim: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

And all Yhudah stood before YY , with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YY : on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YY : it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the Torah of Elohim. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.

And Yehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the Torah: and if I perish, I perish.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of Yhoyakhim the son of Yoshiyah-yahu king of Yhudah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before YY to all the people in Yerushalayim, and to all the people that came from the cities of Yhudah unto Yerushalayim.

Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

So the people of Ninveh believed Elohim, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;

Yhudah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Yerushalayim is gone up.
