How do ye say, We are wise, and the Torah of YY is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

Y'shuw`a said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made The Commandment of Elohim of none effect by your tradition.

He sheweth his word unto Yaakov, his statutes and his judgments unto Yisrael.

He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

I have written to him the great things of my Torah, but they were counted as a strange thing.

Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.

For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Then said they, Come and let us devise devices against Yirmeyah-yahu; for the Torah shall not perish from the kohen, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

And I will make void the counsel of Yhudah and Yerushalayim in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

The kohanim said not, Where is YY ? and they that handle the Torah knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

How say ye, We are mighty and strong men for the war?
