And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith YY -TZvaot.

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

And I will be found of you, saith YY : and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith YY ; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

But, YY liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Yisrael out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will YY thy Elohim gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

Therefore now, O YY , take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

O YY , righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Yhudah, and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, and unto all Yisrael, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither YY thy Elohim hath driven thee,

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Even all the Jews returned out of all places whither they were driven, and came to the land of Yhudah, to Gedaliah, unto Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer fruits very much.

For therefore he sent unto us in Bavel, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O YY , take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Thus saith YY -TZvaot, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Yisrael as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

Hear this word that YY hath spoken against you, O children of Yisrael, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

Therefore thus saith YY ; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Thus saith YY -TZvaot, the Elohim of Yisrael; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Yerushalayim, and upon all the cities of Yhudah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Yhudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
