Fear thou not, O Yaakov my servant, saith YY : for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

Nevertheless in those days, saith YY , I will not make a full end with you.

Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not YY 's.

For I am with thee, saith YY , to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah YY Elohim! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Yisrael?

And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am YY their Elohim.

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Yisrael shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am YY .

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Yhudah, and from the streets of Yerushalayim, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

Behold, YY maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

To fulfil the word of YY by the mouth of Yirmeyah-yahu, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful Elohim.

Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

And I will make Yerushalayim heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Yhudah desolate, without an inhabitant.

And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Bavel seventy years.

Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Yhudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith YY Elohim of Yisrael.

YY hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of YY , as in the day of a solemn feast.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of YY 's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
