Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Bavel the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.

The word that came to Yirmeyah-yahu from YY , after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Yerushalayim and Yhudah, which were carried away captive unto Bavel.

And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.

And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Bavel.

And YY shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither YY shall lead you.

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith YY , So will I give TZidkiyah-yahu the king of Yhudah, and his princes, and the residue of Yerushalayim, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

And TZidkiyah-yahu the king said unto Yirmeyah-yahu, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

And the king of Bavel smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Yhudah was carried away captive out of his own land.

Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Bavel had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Bavel;

Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Bavel:
