Jeremiah 38:2

Thus saith YY , He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live.

For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith YY .

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith YY : but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

Therefore thus saith YY ; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith YY , to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

For thus saith YY Elohim; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Yerushalayim, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Thus saith YY Elohim; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Yisrael! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Yerushalayim, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go and to sojourn.

And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:

Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as YY hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Bavel?

And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith YY , So will I give TZidkiyah-yahu the king of Yhudah, and his princes, and the residue of Yerushalayim, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

Thus saith YY Elohim of Yisrael; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Bavel, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Bavel, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith YY ; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

Know that thus saith YY of the king that sitteth upon the Throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
