And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Yhoyakhin king of Yhudah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Bavel in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Yhoyakhin king of Yhudah, and brought him forth out of prison.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before Elohim, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

And there followed another angel, saying, Bavel is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?

And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Bavel is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her elohim he hath broken unto the ground.

The burden of Bavel, which Yeshayah-yahu the son of Amoz did see.

YY shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

They shall be carried to Bavel, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith YY ; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

The word which came unto Yirmeyah-yahu from YY , when Nebuchadnezzar king of Bavel, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Yerushalayim, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

Thus saith YY ; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave TZidkiyah-yahu king of Yhudah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Bavel, his enemy, and that sought his life.

The word that YY spake to Yirmeyah-yahu the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Bavel should come and smite the land of Egypt.

Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the Elohim of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
