And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Ashur, to drink the waters of the river?
From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Kenaanite: five YY s of the Plishtim; the Azahthites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Yisrael, neither seek YY !
When Efrayim saw his sickness, and Yhudah saw his wound, then went Efrayim to the Ashurn, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?
In the same day shall YY shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Ashur, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
Thou hast played the whore also with the Ashurns, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
