And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

An unElohimly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the Congregation.

Do not they blaspheme [6] that worthy name by the which ye are called?

And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the Torah:

But Kefa said, Hananyah, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to Ruach HaKodesh, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

But when the Prushim heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, "fool", shall be in danger of the sanhedrin: but whosoever shall say, "Thou fool", shall be in danger of hell fire.

And the men of Yisrael answered the men of Yhudah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Yhudah were fiercer than the words of the men of Yisrael.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away talmidim after them.

Therefore thus saith YY ; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against YY .

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

Behold, the name of YY cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Behold, these caused the children of Yisrael, through the counsel of Bilam, to commit trespass against YY in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of YY .

And AbiYAH and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Yisrael five hundred thousand chosen men.

Then said Avshalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other elohim, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

And the Yisraelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of YY , and cursed. And they brought him unto Moshe: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their elohim: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their elohim.

That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
