Rejoice greatly, O daughter of TZiyon; shout, O daughter of Yerushalayim: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Behold, YY hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of TZiyon, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: YY hath caused the solemn feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in TZiyon, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the kohen.
How hath YY covered the daughter of TZiyon with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Yisrael, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
This is the word which YY hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of TZiyon, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Yerushalayim hath shaken her head at thee.
When YY shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of TZiyon, and shall have purged the blood of Yerushalayim from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
And he shall pass through Yhudah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O ImmanuEl.
Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?
One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
It may be YY thy Elohim will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Ashur his master hath sent to reproach the living Elohim, and will reprove the words which YY thy Elohim hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.
