The vision of Yeshayah-yahu the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Yhudah and Yerushalayim in the days of Uziyah-yahu, Yotam, Ahaz, and Hizkiyah-yahu, kings of Yhudah.
And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Yotam, the son of Uziyah-yahu, king of Yhudah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Yisrael, went up toward Yerushalayim to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
He hath said, which heard the words of Elohim, and knew the knowledge of the El Elyon, which saw the vision of El Shaddai, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Yisrael in the days of Uziyah-yahu king of Yhudah, and in the days of Yarovam the son of Yoash king of Yisrael, two years before the earthquake.
Thus saith YY -TZvaot, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of YY .
O TZiyon, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Yerushalayim, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Yhudah, Behold your Elohim!
A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
Now while Kefa doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Shimon's house, and stood before the gate,

The word of YY that came unto Hoshea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uziyah-yahu, Yotam, Ahaz, and Hizkiyah-yahu, kings of Yhudah, and in the days of Yarovam the son of Yoash, king of Yisrael.
And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the kohanim, covered with sackcloth, to Yeshayah-yahu the prophet the son of Amoz.
Yotam was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim: but he did not that which was right in the sight of YY , like David his father:
At the same time spake YY by Yeshayah-yahu the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the kohanim covered with sackcloth, unto Yeshayah-yahu the prophet the son of Amoz.
In those days was Hizkiyah-yahu sick unto death. And Yeshayah-yahu the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith YY , Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of Elohim.
And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Yisrael, saith YY Elohim.
