As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of YY 's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of kohanim murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

Hear ye this, O kohanim; and hearken, ye house of Yisrael; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tavor.

Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our kohanim, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

As for Efrayim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

It shall be also carried unto Ashur for a present to king Jareb: Efrayim shall receive shame, and Yisrael shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

But Yeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook Elohim which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
