And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and tshofars.

And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

Mikhah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hizkiyah-yahu king of Yhudah, and spake to all the people of Yhudah, saying, Thus saith YY -TZvaot; TZiyon shall be plowed like a field, and Yerushalayim shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

I will surely consume them, saith YY : there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

Is it not yet a very little while, and Lvanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.

Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy shame may appear.

For I will be unto Efrayim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Yhudah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
