And when the inhabitants of the land, the Kenaanim, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abelmizraim, which is beyond Yarden.

And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Kenaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.
