And it came to pass after these things, that one told Yosef, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Mnasheh and Efrayim.

Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Yisrael.

And Yosef saw Efrayim's children of the third generation: the children also of Machir the son of Mnasheh were brought up upon Yosef's knees.

And unto Yosef in the land of Egypt were born Mnasheh and Efrayim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah kohen of On bare unto him.

For the children of Yosef were two tribes, Mnasheh and Efrayim: therefore they gave no part unto the Lvim in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.

Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Yoash the king of Yisrael came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Yisrael, and the horsemen thereof.

And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.
