And Yisrael took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-Sheva, and offered sacrifices unto the Elohim of his father Yitzchak.

Except the Elohim of my father, the Elohim of Avraham, and the fear of Yitzchak, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. Elohim hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.

And, behold, YY stood above it, and said, I am YY Elohim of Avraham thy father, and the Elohim of Yitzchak: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

And Yaakov went out from Beer-Sheva, and went toward Haran.

And Avraham planted a grove in Beer-Sheva, and called there on the name of YY , the everlasting Elohim.

Wherefore he called that place Beer-Sheva; because there they sware both of them.

And Avraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-Sheva.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Iyov, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Iyov shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Iyov.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Iyov sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Iyov said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed Elohim in their hearts. Thus did Iyov continually.

And all Yisrael from Dan even to Beer-Sheva knew that Shmuel was established to be a prophet of YY .

And he built there an altar, and called the place ElBeit-El: because there Elohim appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

And let us arise, and go up to Beit-El; and I will make there an altar unto Elohim, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheYisrael.

The Elohim of Avraham, and the Elohim of Nahor, the Elohim of their father, judge betwixt us. And Yaakov sware by the fear of his father Yitzchak.

And Avraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his shofars: and Avraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beit-El, and pitched his tent, having Beit-El on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto YY , and called upon the name of YY .

And Noach builded an altar unto YY ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And YY had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

So Yaakov went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

And Yisrael said, It is enough; Yosef my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.

And the high places of Yitzchak shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Yisrael shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Yarovam with the sword.

And I gave unto Yitzchak Yaakov and Esav: and I gave unto Esav mount Seir, to possess it; but Yaakov and his children went down into Egypt.

Now the name of his firstborn was Yoel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beer-Sheva.
