Then Yaakov was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands;

And let us arise, and go up to Beit-El; and I will make there an altar unto Elohim, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

For his Elohim doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

Then they cried unto YY in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Yisrael lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Yisrael cried out unto YY .

Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esav: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

And Yaakov sent messengers before him to Esav his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

And said, If Esav come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.

And Yaakov lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esav came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.
