And, behold, YY stood above it, and said, I am YY Elohim of Avraham thy father, and the Elohim of Yitzchak: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
And YY appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the Elohim of Avraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Avraham's sake.
And Elohim said unto Yaakov, Arise, go up to Beit-El, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto Elohim, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esav thy brother.
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore Elohim is not ashamed to be called their Elohim: for he hath prepared for them a City.
Moreover he said, I am the Elohim of thy father, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitzchak, and the Elohim of Yaakov. And Moshe hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon Elohim.
And Yaakov said, O Elohim of my father Avraham, and Elohim of my father Yitzchak, YY which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:
Except the Elohim of my father, the Elohim of Avraham, and the fear of Yitzchak, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. Elohim hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
And give thee the blessing of Avraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which Elohim gave unto Avraham.
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Avraham thy father;
And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
In the same day YY made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
I am the Elohim of Beit-El, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.
That they may believe that YY Elohim of their fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitzchak, and the Elohim of Yaakov, hath appeared unto thee.
Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which YY sware unto your fathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations YY thy Elohim doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which YY sware unto thy fathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov.
And YY said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Avraham, unto Yitzchak, and unto Yaakov, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Yarden; and now I am become two bands.
And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you an Elohim: and ye shall know that I am YY your Elohim, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
Thus saith YY Elohim; When I shall have gathered the house of Yisrael from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Yaakov.
