And he went up from thence to Beer-Sheva.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

And Yaakov said unto them, My brethren, whence be ye? And they said, Of Haran are we.

And Yisrael took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-Sheva, and offered sacrifices unto the Elohim of his father Yitzchak.

And YY said unto Moshe, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

And Elohim said unto Yaakov, Arise, go up to Beit-El, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto Elohim, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esav thy brother.

And he built there an altar, and called the place ElBeit-El: because there Elohim appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
