And it came to pass after these things, that Elohim did tempt Avraham, and said unto him, Avraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

By faith Avraham, when he was tried, offered up Yitzchak: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

And thou shalt remember all the way which YY thy Elohim led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His Commandments, or no.

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach:

Was not Avraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Yitzchak his son upon the Altar?

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but Elohim is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but YY trieth the hearts.

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

And when YY saw that he turned aside to see, Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moshe, Moshe. And he said, Here am I.

And the angel of YY called unto him out of heaven, and said, Avraham, Avraham: and he said, Here am I.

And Yitzchak spake unto Avraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Also I heard the voice of YY , saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Bavel, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, Elohim left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.

Then said YY unto Moshe, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my Torah, or no.

Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YY your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye love YY your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.

That through them I may prove Yisrael, whether they will keep the way of YY to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

And again the anger of YY was kindled against Yisrael, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Yisrael and Yhudah.

YY trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

After these things the word of YY came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

And the thing was very grievous in Avraham's sight because of his son.

And Yisrael said unto Yosef, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shkhem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

And Elohim spake unto Yisrael in the visions of the night, and said, Yaakov, Yaakov. And he said, Here am I.

That YY called Shmuel: and he answered, Here am I.
