And he called it Shvah: therefore the name of the city is Beer-Sheva unto this day.

But seek not Beit-El, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-Sheva: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beit-El shall come to nought.

And came to the strong hold of TZor, and to all the cities of the Hivi, and of the Kenaanim: and they went out to the south of Yhudah, even to Beer-Sheva.
